Learn How to Change a Tyre
A flat tyre can happen anywhere. We’ll take you through the process of changing a wheel safely, including where to position the vehicle, how to locate the correct jacking point, how to use the jack and wheel tools, and the correct basic sequence for removing and replacing a wheel.
The emphasis is also on recognising when it isn’t safe to attempt a tyre change yourself and when roadside assistance is the better option.
Check Your Vehicle’s Essential Fluids
You’ll learn how to locate and check important fluid levels under the bonnet, including engine oil, coolant, brake fluid and windscreen washer fluid.
We’ll also explain some important safety precautions — such as why you should never open a pressurised cooling system when the engine is hot.
